Mark Coulman has been involved in farming and the wider agricultural industry for many years, after graduating from Newcastle University and learning much needed business and financial skills with Deloitte’s in Cambridge, Mark honed his wider sales and marketing skills in the agricultural software world with Farmplan and Optimix. Returning to the family tenanted farm, Mark diversified into cut flowers, building a successful growing, importing, packing and delivery business, alongside a small plant supply business. Spreading into consultancy with start-ups and larger agricultural business working with Business Link and JHWalter LLP, Mark is no novice in the diversification world.
