About Alison Norrington
Alison is a storyteller, writer, producer and designer. She is founder of storycentral, incubating and developing ground-breaking IP globally in film, television, theme parks, animation, publishing, VR/AR and gaming. She specializes in storytelling that amplifies fan engagement, experience design, franchise extension, community build through story and strategic development – centered around strong robust cores of architecture, theme and audience.
She has worked with Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros, SundanceTV, CBS Interactive, FOX International, AMC Networks, BBC. She produced London & Berlin chapters for ‘The Quest for the Golden Bananas’, ( Xbox ‘Sea of Thieves’) and The Search for the Saguache Treasure – an interactive location-based game for Colorado Tourism Board.
Alison is Chair for StoryWorld Conference, VR+Kids Researcher for Children’s Media Foundation and a two-time TEDx speaker. She is featured on BAFTA Guru series and member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Themed Entertainment Association and The Writers Guild.
2018 was milestone for the Themed Entertainment Industry, with attendance at major operators exceeding half a billion visits.
